What travellers say.
Direct words from people who have flown with WNTT — Egypt, Amazon and Portuguese coast editions.
"I expected to fly over the pyramids. I didn't expect a small group that felt like family by day three. Ricardo's planning made it effortless — every transfer, every meal, every weather call."
"Eleven days of complete privacy on an Amazon river boat. The flying was unreal. The way Caju adapted each day to weather and wildlife was the real luxury."
"Sunrise over Luxor temples from a paramotor — I still don't have the right words. Real pilots, calm planning, time to actually be present in the place."
Simple, personal, pilot-led.
No confusing brochure. Clear trip information, direct contact with Ricardo and a private portal for documents and payments.

Honest answers.
The questions we get most often before someone books — answered plainly.
Do I need to be a pilot to join?
No. Every WNTT expedition has space for both pilots and guests. Guests join as passengers — most trips include tandem flights with certified tandem pilots so you still experience the destination from the air.
What flying experience do pilot travellers need?
A valid paramotor pilot licence recognised in the destination country (APPI, USPPA, BHPA or local CAA equivalent) and airworthy equipment. We share a detailed checklist when you confirm the booking. If you are unsure, just message Ricardo with your current level and we'll tell you straight.
What happens if the weather is bad on a flying day?
Safety first, always. If a flight should not happen, it does not. Each trip has strong day-on-the-ground alternatives — cultural visits, balloon flights, river days — so you never lose the day even when the wind says no. Decisions are made by the pilot in command and the local flight director.
Is travel insurance mandatory?
Yes. Comprehensive travel insurance with medical, repatriation and trip-cancellation cover is required for every traveller. Pilot travellers also need explicit cover for paramotor flying — most policies exclude it by default, so check with your insurer or use an APPI/BHPA-affiliated provider. Full detail in our Terms & Booking Conditions.
How do payments and the deposit work?
Bookings are confirmed with a deposit (typically 30% of the total). The remaining balance is due ~60 days before departure. All card payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card. Payment plans can be arranged on request.
What's included and what's not?
Each trip page lists exactly what is included (accommodation, transfers, key experiences, on-trip support) and what is not (international flights, travel insurance, visas, optional excursions, personal items). The information is the same that goes into your client portal once you book.
Can I cancel? What's the refund policy?
Yes, with a sliding refund schedule. Cancellations more than 90 days before the start date are fully refunded (minus deposit). Between 30 and 90 days you get a partial refund. Inside 30 days the trip is non-refundable — which is why we insist on travel insurance. The full schedule is in our Terms & Booking Conditions.
Do you do private or custom expeditions?
Yes. WNTT runs private routes for small groups of friends, families or company teams — Portuguese coast, Egypt, Brazil or a route we'll design together. Reach out via contact or WhatsApp with your dates and style and Ricardo will reply personally.
